The Lune Catchment Mapping Portal is an online tool to help the Living Lune Catchment Partnership reach a shared understanding of the issues and pressures in the river catchment, and to agree and prioritise collaborative actions to help tackle the problems.

The portal gathers and presents a wealth of environmental information through user-friendly ‘story maps’, which help develop a shared understanding of the physical and socio-economic characteristics of the catchment and issues facing the river. Information is grouped by the key issues in the catchment: water quality, habitat and wildlife, flooding, and invasive non-native species. Partner organisations can share information on funded action plans to help coordinate activity and achieve multiple benefits, and the portal allows anyone to submit new project ideas for the partnership to review.
