
Tim Pitt
Trust Manager
Tim has a BEng in Civil Engineering from Coventry University and an MSc in Integrated Water Resource Management from McGill University in Montreal. He spent many years working as an engineer and in humanitarian aid. Tim also worked for 3 ½ years with the national level Rivers Trust, prior to joining Lune Rivers Trust in April 2020. Tim is responsible for overall management of Lune Rivers Trust, as well as running the Natural Flood Management and Water Quality Monitoring in the Keer projects.

Louisa Blundell
Project Manager & Living Lune Partnership Officer
Louisa joined the Lune Rivers Trust in 2013 following a career in sales & project management. Since then she has overseen a wide variety of projects for the Trust, including hosting the Living Lune Catchment Partnership. Currently she manages the Greggs Urban Regeneration project, the Slow the Flow projects, and continues to host the Living Lune Catchment Partnership.

Louisa joined the Lune Rivers Trust in 2013 following a career in sales & project management. Jemma Wilson
Farm Advisor/ Project Officer
Jemma graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019 with a BSc in Biology. She then spent a year working as a Field Scientist with aquatic consultancy firm APEM, prior to joining Lune Rivers Trust in May 2021. Jemma is running the United Utilities Farmer Engagement project and facilitates the Orton Fells Farm Cluster. She is a licensed white-clawed crayfish surveyor and runs our electro-fishing program.

After returning to the UK after living in Canada, Jonathan completed an MSc in Environmental Management. He then spent almost a year working with the National Trust and Fix the Fells in the Lake District before starting work with Lune Rivers Trust in March 2023. He is responsible for supporting the Trust’s projects with mapping and data plotting, along with assisting on the e-fishing and crayfish surveys in the summer.

Deb Hardwick

Deb spent her working life in a solicitors’ office in a market town in the Yorkshire Dales working on probate, conveyancing and accounts for 40 years. When she retired 10 years ago she took on the accounts for the Trust, having been a Trust member for 20 years and taken the minutes for many a trust meeting. She has lived most of her life in the Lune valley and was indeed born just outside Kirkby Lonsdale. She loves walking the river banks, the Yorkshire Dales and (nowadays) the lower hills in the Lake District.

Fiona trained as a conservation forester at the Heart of England Forest before undertaking a summer season in the Cairngorms as a ranger. She started at the Lune Rivers Trust in October 2022, where she is taking the lead on two projects: Health and Environmental Action Lancashire, and Lancashire Woodland Connect.
